Welcome to the 2020 Renewals Process!

Thank you for being part of our earliest cohorts of Health Rosetta Advisors. The last two years have been an incredible journey for us as we all roll up our sleeves to build better health plans for our communities.

A lot has changed since we brought on the first cohort and you’ll find some of those changes reflected in the renewal process outlined below. What hasn’t changed is our 100% commitment to the mission of enabling fully transparent, high-performance health plans that achieve the quadruple aim. It is a privilege and an honor to serve that mission alongside each and every one of you.

Key Renewal Dates

Overview of Tiers

The first decision that you will need to make is whether to apply for renewal at the Associate Advisor level (where everyone is now) or at the Accredited Advisor level. The Elite level is invite-only this year.

    Associate Advisor Level (formerly Certified)

    Profile

    This level recognizes advisors who are delivering higher-performance benefits plans to their clients, incorporating one or more of the following components:

    Advisors at this level fully disclose all compensation to their clients and are actively working with each client to define a 3-5 year strategy for health benefits spending that delivers more value at lower cost for the members and client.

    Qualification Process

    Estimated time to complete: 1 hour

    • In order to qualify for this level, advisors must submit a completed Advisor Profile, Client Profile, Plan Grader and Compensation Disclosure no later than Friday, February 3rd.
    • Health Rosetta will review and approve the Plan Grader.
    • Once approved, advisors must email the Plan Grader and Compensation Disclosure to the client and cc advisor.renewals@healthrosetta.org.
      • Suggested Subject: RESPONSE NEEDED: plan details and compensation disclosure

Every month, we’ll bring you industry experts to dive deeper into how Health Rosetta plans work best and how to make them work for you and your clients. Twice a year, we’ll offer in-person Advisor Summits to dive even deeper into what it takes to make Health Rosetta plans more successful for more clients.

      • In order to achieve our individual and collective mission, we need to reach more clients, more members and more communities. The Advisor Program provides you with the tools and templates to communicate your thought leadership and the strategic advantages of working with a Health Rosetta Advisor. Additionally, we actively build demand amongst employer for Health Rosetta style plans and components, moving the market in your direction.

    Accredited Advisor Level

    This new level of recognition is an exciting step forward for us and for the industry. The more that we have engaged with you and your clients in these implementations, it has become clear that there is no substitute for the well-earned experience that comes from having implemented a Health Rosetta component previously, ideally several times over. Establishing this Accredited level helps us, employers and our ecosystem know who has this experience and is ready to hit the ground running.

    Profile

    This level recognizes advisors who are multiple years into the journey of delivering higher-performance benefits plans to their clients with significant results to show for that work, incorporating many or all of the following components:

    As with the Associate level, Advisors at this level fully disclose all compensation to their clients and are actively working with each client to define a 3-5 year strategy for health benefits spending that delivers more value at lower cost for the members and client. Additionally, Accredited Advisors have at least three clients for whom annual results from implementation of multiple components are available, including moving away from traditional networks.

    Qualification Process

    Estimated time to complete: 6 hours (4 hours initial materials, 2 hours post-review)

    • In order to qualify for this level, advisors must submit 3 completed completed Advisor Profile, Client Profile, Plan Graders and Compensation Disclosures, a Case Study and a How I Did It module no later than Friday, February 3rd.
    • Health Rosetta will review and approve the Plan Grader, Case Study and How I Did It.
    • Once approved, advisors must email the Plan Grader and Compensation Disclosure to the client and cc advisor.renewals@healthrosetta.org.

    • Case Study
      • Case studies are a proven content marketing technique that build confidence in Health Rosetta plans and drive employer leads for Health Rosetta Advisors. For the Accredited Advisor level, you need to complete at least one case study demonstrating your clients’ success. Please confirm one of your clients that you’d like to complete a case study for by emailing advisor.renewals@healthrosetta.org. Please include name of your client, effective date, an estimated time frame of the case study period and name and email if someone from your team will be submitting the case study information. We will then configure your group and send you the appropriate links for you to submit the necessary information through the Health Rosetta platform. Please consider the following when submitting your case study:
        • It needs to be a current client of yours.
        • Make sure you have at least one plan year of data showcasing the success of your Health Rosetta-centric health plan? It’s best to wait until you have at least one full year of experience prior to submitting a case study.
    • How I Did It Module
      • Demonstrating and sharing on the ground expertise via a How I Did It module is the final requirement of the Accredited Level application. Background and instructions can be found here. Please email questions to advisor.renewals@healthrosetta.org.

    Benefits

    • At this new level, you enjoy all the benefits of the Associate level and will also receive:
      • Accredited Advisor Branding and listing on the Health Rosetta website and in Health Rosetta materials, as well as the ability to use that branding and designation in your own materials.
      • This higher tier also receives priority for the incoming employer leads that Health Rosetta receives.
      • Accredited Advisors also receive priority for their clients in the Health Rosetta Inside program.

    Elite Advisor Level

    Over the past year, there have been a handful of advisors whose deep experience, sophistication of processes and willingness to invest alongside us and other advisors to build the collective intelligence of our movement has really stood out. We are adding this level to recognize that achievement and allow us to communicate it within our ecosystem. For 2020, this level is available by invite only.

    Client Selection Recommendations

    Plan Grader

    The number one criteria is a client who will be ready, willing and able to participate in this process. Clients who are difficult to reach, disengaged or actively dissatisfied are not good candidates.

    Secondarily, select a plan where you have enough data to demonstrate significant results from the changes made to the plan. 

    Lastly, choose the plan you have been able to be most innovative in terms of the number of Health Rosetta components implemented and the extent to which they’ve been implemented.

    Case Study

    Even more than with the Plan Grader, the Case Study requires a willing and engaged client both in terms of assistance with completion and then to participate in a webinar and engage with press contacts.

    Health Rosetta Accel and Inside

    The Health Rosetta Accel and Inside programs are add ons for Advisors who are accepted into the Advisor Program. 

    We developed Accel and Inside to meet the needs we’ve seen in the market. For the past year, we have been building out both the software and services that we believe are needed to significantly accelerate Advisors’ abilities to sell and implement high-performance health plans.

    We’ve had some questions about the terminology to talk about our programs since the name changes and addition of levels.

    • Health Rosetta Advisor Program
      • Encompasses the Associate, Accredited and Elite levels
      • Usage: Applications for the Health Rosetta Advisor Program will open next spring.
    • Health Rosetta Advisors
      • Encompasses Associate, Accredited and Elite Advisors
      • Usage: All Health Rosetta Advisors are invited to our biannual Advisor Summits.
