Introduction to the Health Rosetta
Welcome to lesson one in the Health Rosetta Introduction Course. First off, we’d like to thank you for joining us on this journey and allocating your time to learning about the Health Rosetta on a deeper level, we can’t wait to get started!
Let’s dive in… The Health Rosetta is a blueprint for high-performance benefits purchasing. It’s an open source project that aggregates the best practices from all types of benefits purchasers around the country. Think of it as the Rosetta Stone for making sense of our overly-complex and convoluted status quo health care system.
The primary goal of the Health Rosetta is pretty simple. The great news is that solutions to our health care dysfunction (i.e., spending far too much on poor health outcomes) already exist and have been successfully implemented by organizations everywhere. They are reversing the trend of 20 years of wage stagnation and decline for the working and middle class that has been caused by an out-of-control health care system. Simplifying the adoption of these solutions is the path to fixing our health care system.
